Established under the aegis of the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India, CRC serves as a pivotal institution in the region, providing comprehensive services for assessment, therapeutic intervention, skill development, and capacity building.
Functioning as a multidisciplinary center of excellence, CRC Andaman & Nicobar Islands is committed to fostering holistic rehabilitation through early intervention, assistive technology, special education, vocational training, and community-based rehabilitation programs.
