    Our Services

    Department of Clinical Psychology

    This unit caters the psychological needs of PwD’s. The objectives are to provide   services in areas of mental health       problems, developmental disabilities and to assists the  parents and care givers of PwD’s to lead stress free life. It aims to encourages the PwD’s to lead an independent  productive  & dignified life & to improve the quality of life of PwDs, Parents & community.

    Department of Special Education

    The unit focuses on the educational & adaptive skills of the CwSN, Special educator is specially trained teacher who focuses on the overall development of CwSN including their personal, social, functional academic, communication, cognitive & adaptive skills. This department imparts training based IEP & IFSP and research based teaching methods for giving training to the CwSN.

    Department of Physiotherapy

    This unit caters the treatment & management for Persons with movement malfunction and pain by execution of specialized exercise techniques and pain relieving modalities. Goals of the physiotherapies are to improve, develop, maintain & restore maximum functional ability, health & wellbeing   throughout the lifespan.

    Department of Occupational Therapy

    This unit focuses on the functional abilities of the PwDs. An occupational therapist uses initial evaluation followed by goal   setting & further intervention to develop, recover and sustain meaningful activities of daily living. Modes of therapies are Sensory integration therapy, neurodevelopment therapy & play therapy etc. the aims of this department are to enhance the age appropriate developmental milestones, play skills, cognitive perceptual skills and to improve gross and fine motors skills & ADL.

    Department of Speech & Language Therapy

    The main goal of speech therapy is to improve communication & improving coordination of speech muscle through strengthening and coordinating exercises, sound repetition and imitation. It improves overall communication enhances social skills, enables to cope up better with the society and function in day today life.

    Department of Vocational Training

    This unit functions with the objectives of providing adequate support to lead an independent life for PwD (Adults). This includes assessment, vocational guidance, identification of job’s skills, safety skills, vocational training programs, job identification and placement of the trainee.

    Department of Orientation and Mobility

    This unit teaches persons with visually impairment, how to utilizes remaining senses (hearing, touching, smelling and proprioception) to get knowledge of surroundings and making them           independent as much as possible to go through indoor & outdoor environments efficiently & safely combined. They fulfill the educational needs of students of     visually impairment using assistive & adaptive devices.

    Department of Social Work & Placement

    This department works as a fulcrum between the clients & with various departments of different institute with a profound interest to help & improve the quality of life of a PwD’s and families of PwD. Assist them, create awareness & Capacity   building program, empowerment & community sensitization for PWDs & their families to restore or enhance their capacity for social functioning while creating societal conditions favorable to their goals.

    Department of Orthotics and Prosthetics

    Orthotics & Prosthetics is a dynamic and expanding allied health care    profession. An Orthotics & Prosthetics is the responsible person to carry out rehabilitation assessments, evaluation, design, fabrication and custom fitting of artificial limbs and   orthopedic braces to the persons with disabilities.
